Shiba Inu’s burn tracker, Shibburn, has recently shed light on the concerning behavior of Ryoshi, the pseudonymous creator behind the popular meme coin, SHIB. The community project boldly accused Ryoshi of acting against the best interests of the SHIB ecosystem. Shibburn’s claims mainly revolve around the founders’ lack of honesty and transparency in their dealings.

According to Shibburn’s posts on their X platform (previously known as Twitter), Ryoshi and the other founders have deliberately hindered the burn rate of SHIB by refusing to burn over 103 trillion tokens. This assertion is compounded by the allegation that Ryoshi initially lied about the amount of SHIB they held, claiming to possess “0 SHIB” to avoid potential conflicts of interest. However, it was later discovered that Ryoshi actually holds more than $1 billion worth of SHIB. The founders’ attempt to conceal their holdings by frequently moving them across different wallets is seen by Shibburn as a deliberate obstruction to the ecosystem’s growth since some of these tokens were intended to be burnt.

Moreover, Shibburn went so far as to accuse Ryoshi of showing little to no regard for SHIB’s development, insinuating that the founder’s true motives revolve solely around personal profit. Shibburn’s shocking revelations suggest that Ryoshi may not be an individual but rather a collective of “greedy investors” who exploit the community for their own enrichment. SHIB is referred to as their “golden goose,” used as a tool to increase their own wealth.

Aside from Ryoshi, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of SHIB, also finds themselves entangled in the controversy surrounding the project. Shibburn accuses Shytoshi of being an imposter, dubbing them a “fake dev” and suggesting their involvement in profiting off the community. One particular instance cited by Shibburn is the alleged rewarding of the developers with a substantial amount of $BONE upon the creation of ShibaSwap, a decentralized exchange platform. To potentially boost the token’s utility and value, Shibburn speculates that BONE was designated as a gas token for Shibarium, the SHIB ecosystem’s blockchain.

As of now, neither Shytoshi Kusama nor the official SHIB announcements blog has released any statements regarding these serious allegations. The silence from the accused parties raises significant concerns about the transparency and accountability of the SHIB project.

Curiously, despite the weight of the allegations put forth by Shibburn, the Shiba Inu community appears to remain unperturbed. It is unclear whether this lack of response reflects unwavering support or a disillusioned community that has become desensitized to claims against the project’s founders.

In a time when trust and transparency are paramount to the success of cryptocurrency projects, the allegations raised by Shibburn against Ryoshi and Shytoshi Kusama underscore the importance of accountability within the SHIB ecosystem. The community anxiously awaits a response from the accused parties and hopes for a resolution that addresses the concerns and restores confidence. Until then, uncertainty looms over the future of SHIB and its supporters.
